Another rise in military spending, extension of more tax benefits (yes, the recent tax provisions increase even more than what the government was already giving back in 2009 and 2010), and somehow more spending despite freezes?

Frankly, I'm sick of this.

1) We can't keep making new tax cuts during every recession. We have to let the recession run more naturally. *And* 2001/2003 Cuts *Have* to go. For all of us.

2) Military. This really has to stop. It looks like another year of new record spending levels. When are we finally going to see the drop in spending here? Didn't we drop net troops? (Afghanistan went up, but we dropped from 170,000 to now less than 50,000 in Iraq and only added about 70,000 in Afghanistan)

3) How is mandatory spending still growing...a freeze on SS already in. And additional freezes. And now also freezes on descretionary. Maybe the CBO report didn't take these additional freezes into account?

Sigh....
